A friendly and coordonated team of state instructors. Our instructors all have regularly updated aquatic first aid certificates. Classes start from the surf school to enable the instructor to select the most suitable board for your level and build. Our classes are organised depending on tides so as to optimize the learning conditions. The schedules are not fixed, they change everyday according to tides. In case of cancellation because of a violent sea or a storm, we offer a remedial class or the reimbursement of the class. Age groups
The training, the intellectual abilities (attention, analysis), the physical abilities are not the same considering the age.
We have organised 3 age groups:
Level groups
Beginners groups : wich criteria ?
I have never surfed/ I stand up on the board but I can’t follow the wave from the top to the shore/I can’t find the correct position on the wave/ I can’t cope with the conditions, the currents. Advanced level groups: which requirements? I can surf/ I can now analyse the best way to get offshore/ I can easily place myself at the top of the wave and I can take it before it breaks on the shore/I don’t take enough waves / my trajectories are straighter than wavy. The advanced level groups are composed of a maximum of 6 surfers. A secure practice
During the summer period we are close to the life-guard post. During the off-season period or out of the regulated area, we take a first aid case with us and we remind you that our instructors also have regularly updates First aid certificates.
Our surfers put on a colored lycra top over their wetsuit to be spotted. The equipment and the wetsuits are regularly checked and renewed. A wide range of equipment
The equipment is adapted to the build and the level of surfers. For the youngest we suggest short foam boards. We have short shorboards for advanced learners/ progressive boards (medium size boards for light surfers or medium level surfers), longboards for stout people or beginners.
The wetsuits are short or long depending on seasons. You will be equipped with a O’Neil quality wetsuit, leader and pioneer in surf wetsuits .At the end of each class our wetsuits are rinsed in a disinfecting product (Bacterless). Teaching objectives
